How we verify
StudentStack is a directory of student deals on AI and software tools. Every listing links to the company's own official page — never a reseller, never a coupon aggregator. This page explains what our labels mean and how we make money, because a deals site you can't audit isn't worth trusting.
What "Verified" means
A deal marked Verified on official site means one of us opened the company's own student or pricing page and read the offer there — the price, the eligibility, and the claim process. We write down what the page says, not what a blog or a Reddit thread says it says.
What "Not yet verified" means
The listing came from a credible lead — usually the company's own marketing or a community source — but we haven't yet confirmed every term on the official page ourselves. We say so on the card rather than pretend otherwise. Prices we couldn't read directly off the vendor's page carry a ~ prefix.
What can still go wrong
- Companies change offers without telling anyone. A deal verified last month can be different today — always confirm on the official page before you commit.
- Eligibility varies by country and school. We flag what we know, especially for international students, but we can't test every school's email domain.
How we make money
Some links may be affiliate links, meaning the company pays us a commission if you sign up. It never costs you extra. Nothing a company gives us, whether money, an exclusive offer, or anything else, buys a place on this list or affects ordering, and a placement exchanged for anything at all, if we ever add one, will be visibly labeled. The moment a listing can be bought, "hand-picked" becomes false advertising, so it can't be.
