What StudentStack is
StudentStack (student-stack.com) is a free, informational directory of student deals on AI and software tools, run by Woosung Choi and Yoonwoo Lee. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Deals are described, not guaranteed
Every deal on this site is offered by the company that makes the tool, not by us. We describe what a company's own page said when we read it, and we mark each listing either "Verified" (one of us read the offer on the company's official page) or "Not yet verified" (a credible lead we have not yet confirmed there). Prices we could not read directly carry a "~" prefix. Companies change and withdraw offers without telling anyone, eligibility varies by country and school, and we cannot test every case. So:
- Always confirm the offer on the company's own site before you rely on it.
- We do not promise that any listing is current, complete, or available to you.
- Nothing on this site is an offer from us, a warranty, or professional advice.
If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it.
Independence, affiliates, and trademarks
StudentStack is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company listed here, and no company has given us anything, money or otherwise, to be listed or ranked. Some outbound links may be affiliate links, meaning a company may pay us a commission if you sign up; this never changes what you pay, and it never decides what we list. If we ever add a placement exchanged for anything at all, it will be visibly labeled as such.
All product names, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products described. Screenshots of third-party products are used to show what the product is, and remain the copyright of their owners.
Using the site
You may read, link to, and share the site freely. You may not scrape the site in a way that disrupts it, republish our editorial text as your own, misrepresent our listings, or use the site for anything unlawful. The site is provided "as is" and "as available", and we may change or remove any part of it at any time.
Our content and yours
The editorial text, the selection and arrangement of deals, and the site's design are ours. The site has no facility for you to post content, so there is no user content on it.
Purchases, if we ever offer one
Nothing is for sale on StudentStack today. The site has a checkout page reserved for possible future "lifetime deal" offers sold by StudentStack under a written agreement with the tool's maker. If such an offer is ever live, these rules apply: the price is shown before you pay; payment is processed by PayPal under PayPal's terms; we deliver redemption details by email within one business day of payment; the tool itself is operated by its own company under that company's terms; and refunds follow our Refund Policy. If you are ever charged and do not receive what you paid for, contact us and we will put it right.
Third-party sites
Links take you to other companies' websites, which we do not control and are not responsible for. Their terms and privacy policies apply there.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on any listing, including a deal that has changed, ended, or turned out not to apply to you. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, which for a free site is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any consumer rights you have where you live.
Copyright and takedown requests
We respect the rights of the companies we write about. If you own the rights to a logo, screenshot, or text on this site and want it changed or removed, contact us with the page address, a description of the material, and your contact details, and we will act promptly, normally within two business days. We will also correct any factual description on request from the company concerned.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be heard in the courts located there, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim locally. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Email is the fastest route for any privacy, copyright, or accuracy request. A dedicated address for StudentStack is being set up; until it is listed here, reply to any email StudentStack has sent you, and it reaches us. We answer within 10 business days, usually much sooner.
